Relationships – Keep them black and white!

You’ve got this thought,
And it is nagging you,
You don’t know,
What to believe.

You want to believe,
You don’t want to hurt,
You don’t ask the question,
Because you are scared of the answer.

There is too much at stake,
The doubt within,
Will burn what is without.
You’ve got to speak.

Speak with all your honesty,
Spread out whatever you’ve got.
If in return what you get is not the truth
You know you have to walk away.

Walk away
There is no value in a relationship that is not Black and White!

Relationships, They give us our greatest joy and sometimes our biggest sorrow. I have learnt that only those relationships survive and are worth it where you can confess your darkest secrets and clear your smallest doubt.

  3. Well said. Honesty is fearlessness, which is what true love is too. There is no room for doubt or fear when it comes to love.
    Peace & grace,

  4. Nope. It takes courage and even if you think the truth will make you worse off, it never does. Thanks for reading and liking..:)
Hope Peace and Love be your constant companions.

  5. “You don’t ask the question,
Because you are scared of the answer”

    So True..!!

  6. Yes. We all face it in life sometime or the other. Different circumstances, different people, the same fear in the hearts.

  7. I presume by black and white you mean complete, open honesty and transparency? Holding back on either of these in a relationship is not a good thing – even our relationship with God. It’s not like He doesn’t already know it all, but some of us try to hide anyway at times. How many times have I “not asked the question” because I was “scared of the answer” — trying to change that:) Angie

  8. I like this a lot. I think there is gray though, it’s compromise and bending to work with others while we say what’s on our minds.

Thank you for coming by my blog πŸ™‚ !

  9. You are most welcome πŸ™‚ Nice to meet you.
